ATTIVITA' DI RICERCA
My research interests are in population genetics models of evolution to study human population history by Approximate Bayesian Computation techniques for both contemporary and serial sampling. I analyze modern and ancient human DNA data in order to highlight, if any, genealogical relationships between modern and ancient population testing alternative models of evolution. I'm also interested in phylogenetics inference of demographics and evolutionary parameters; in molecular evolution; selection; coalescent theory and stochastic processes.
