ATTIVITA' DI RICERCA
My main research interests are the processes shaping the spatial variability of genetic diversity. I use landscape genetics techniques such as spatial simulations and models of resistance to gene flow in order to test the influence of the environment on the genetic differentiation between populations.
My current projects include:
- Reconstruction of past human migrations
- Analysis of geographic factors influencing both genetic and linguistic diversification
